Avon Ware English majolica style teapot in the Hydrangea pattern, circa 1940's/50's. Made in England. Beautiful and collectible hand painted pot with a floral relief moulded design in pretty pastel colours. Backstamp indicates production from 1947.
In excellent vintage condition, may have some minor crazing consistent with age.
Measures approx. 200mm (W, incl. handle and spout) x 140mm (H, with lid) x 125mm diameter. Approx. 3-4 cup capacity.
