An antique tureen and plate set by Brown Westhead Moore & Co, made in England, c.1880s.
This set comprises a lidded tureen with its matching underplate, plus a separate serving platter. Featuring a grape and vine pattern in classic Victorian style, produced in the late 1800's, often unseen with tureen and plate available as a matching set.
Brown Westhead Moore & Co. were manufacturers of high grade earthenware and porcelain at Hanley, England from around 1862-1904.
This fine antique set will display beautifully. There are some imperfections (as detailed below), but in overall very good antique condition considering the age of the pieces.
*The lid has a chip on the underside and one handle of the tureen has 2 small side chips. There are a couple of minor glaze blemishes to the under plate and the small serving plate has age related staining.
