A small shell dish and open sugar bowl in the Rouge Royale pattern by Carlton Ware, made in England, c.1930s. Set of 2 pieces.
These pieces are fine and collectible Carlton Ware in a deep red lustreware colour with gold gilded highlights. The bowl was produced as an open sugar bowl, however it could be used as a small vase. The shell shaped dish is a versatile piece which can be used as a candy plate or bathroom dish, or simply displayed with a Carlton Ware collection.
The shell bowl is in excellent vintage condition. The sugar bowl has two chips to the footed base (pictured).
