A large bowl in the Rouge Royale 'New Mikado' chinoiserie pattern by Carlton Ware, made in England, c.1940s.
This bowl is the fine quality and collectibility of Carlton Ware in a deep red lustre colour with gold gilded highlights. The bowl features an enamel and gilt chinoiserie pattern with central pagoda, finished with gilt rim and highly decorative internal rim design.
In overall excellent vintage condition, with some surface wear to interior of bowl consistent with age and use.
