A stunning Murano uranium art glass centrepiece bowl, c.1960s.
This mid century glass bowl has been hand blown in a stylized leaf shape with radiated ribs and heavy bullicante (controlled air bubbles) design. In a beautiful golden amber hue, glowing under UV light as pictured.
With polished pontil base and of significant proportions, this is a very stylish and collectible art glass piece to display, appealing to both mid century art glass and uranium glass collectors alike.
In excellent vintage condition. There is a small ridge which can be felt to the interior centre, possibly part of the manufacturing process but noted for accuracy.
