An art glass platter by Orrefors, made in Sweden, c.1980s.
This is the 'Tree of Life' platter in the largest size produced. It features a reverse moulded tree design on the underside, with flat serving top.
A heavy and thick piece, it was designed by Lars Hellsten. Able to serve many purposes, a cheese board, cake platter, antipasto platter or charcuterie board. A striking art glass plate which can also be displayed as a decorative tray.
In excellent vintage condition, with a small and inconspicuous scratch to the underside.
